7.04.2008 NetDialogue at the grand opening of the railway communication Laos - Thailand NetDialogue, a leading Russian systems integrator and vendor of comprehensive IT solutions, has completed the construction of a fiber-optic communication line on the Laos territory at the railway distance from Ban Thanaleng (Laos) to Nong Khai (Thailand). The contract for this project was concluded in January 2008 and the customers of NetDialogue were the Lao Railway Authority (LRA) and the State Railways of Thailand (SRT). The opening of the Laos site of a fiber-optic communication line has coincided with the grand opening of the Ban Thanaleng station. Delegation of NetDialogue representatives has participated in the opening ceremony of the Ban Thanaleng railway station (Laos). The Thai side was represented by the prime minister of the Thailand – Mr. Samak Sundaravej. From the Lao side the ceremony was visited by the prime minister of Laos Mr. Bouasone Buphavanh, minister of information and communication – Mr. Khamlouat Sidlakone, and other members of the Cabinet. In the context of bilateral meeting there was organized a state reception, which was honored with the presence of the Queen of Thailand Her Majesty Sirikit.
11.01.2008 NetDialogue, a leading Russian systems integrator and vendor of comprehensive IT solutions, has concluded a contract for construction and maintenance of a fiber-optic communication line at the railway distance from Nong Khai (Thailand), through Friendship Bridge between Thailand and Laos, to Ban Thanaleng (Laos), and further to the central office of the Lao Railway Authority in Vientiane. The customers of the project are the Lao Railway Authority (LRA) and the State Railways of Thailand (SRT). This is the first international project of NetDialogue in Southeast Asia and will connect the telecom networks of Lao and Thai railways. The Russian company was selected for its cutting-edge innovative technologies of fiber-optic line construction, individual approach to service provisioning and the economic efficiency of the proposed solution. ___________________________________________
